KS Sousa Honor Band

Fees

There is a $15 fee per audition. This is due November 13th, 2026.

If selected for participation, fees are $45 per student and are due by February 1st, 2027. The fee is all-inclusive for the KSJPS Honor Band event.

Make fees payable to the KS John Philip Sousa Jr. Honor Band. Credit card is also accepted. Invoices will be posted for band directors.

Participation fees are due no later than February 1, 2027.

Financial and Cancellation Policy

The Participation Fee is required for each student selected and named to the official ensemble roster and secures the student’s participation in the event.

Students who withdraw after being named to the roster remain responsible for the full Participation Fee.

Alternates who are added to the roster will be assessed the Participation Fee upon acceptance.

Schools or participants with an outstanding balance from a previous year are not eligible to register or participate until the balance is paid in full.

The Kansas John Philip Sousa Honor Band reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel the event due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, public health emergencies, government restrictions, or other unforeseen events.

All registration fees and participation payments are non-refundable, including in the event of cancellation resulting from circumstances as described above.

By registering for the event, participants, families, and schools acknowledge and agree to this policy.
